I've been listening to The Decemberists, "Castaways and Cutouts".

Wow. I'd heard it before, but never really gave it a serious listen until after I'd played their latest, "The King is Dead" to excess. It's excellent. Very, very impressive.

Had to laugh at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e5hRLbCaCs&feature=youtu.be

I must be missing something.  What exactly is there to protest outside a Foo Fighters show?!??!?!?!

Picaresque was the one I got into first, The Infanta in particular, great band.

Probably only MF cares, but apparently The Stone Roses have reformed.

Oh, I've been all over that like a fat kid on candy.

I hoped they would never reform, but I'll go see 'em now that the damage has been done.

Suckered in by the power of nostalgia.

Puscifer is playing at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts Nov 18, checking out the new album now, different from 'V' but pretty good so far.

Please post if you do - I would love to see it (and I'm admittedly lazy at searching out content sometimes ;D)
