Dallas didn't get a penalty because they didn't touch the puck. Nylander di and went on the offence. If he didn't touch until Marner got off, no penalty. My view is both are penalties.

That's probably the case. I'm not going to go back into the video to look for it though.

Generally, I don't like to complain about penalties/bad calls. It evens out over the season one way or another. Refs are trying their best and for the most part do a great job. I like it when the team just plays, and if they're playing right, the penalties or the wrong calls shouldn't matter in the end. I also like pointing out inconsistencies, so there's that.

One of the best wins of the season.

And to do it without 3 critical members of the regular lineup wow.

martin, leivo, soshnikov

I can handle Komorov as a fourth line pk specialist who can fill in higher in case of an injury. I'd be ok with him getting resigned to play that role, I just don't trust Babcock to keep him in that role of he is resigned unfortunately. The guy should not be in the top 9 on this team.

There was a recent article, I believe in the Athletic in which it was reportedly the case that Babcock thought that putting Leo on the fourth line was going to be a temporary measure.  But after seeing the results, he was reconsidering this.

How does he keep on favouring veterans?

What does Polak have to do be benched?

Why doesn't he play the younger players  (Leivo and Kappanen) more, and in scoring positions?  (Especially with the Leafs really mediocre offense over the past 7 weeks or so)?

And why doesn't the Toronto media ever ask him the type of questions that we see hear on this site?  (Perhaps afraid of not getting any quotes in the future?).

All of this is admittedly conjecture.  But really it makes one wonder what Lou and Shanahan and even Dubas are thinking over these curious personnel decisions.
