Did Andersen just make a kick save lying down?

Nope. It was a glove save lying down. A Bacchus-style save.

Classic Polak.  Shooting the puck off of Hamonic.

That was a really odd play by Rielly to cross the ice like that.

Matthews has been pretty bad st both ends of the ice since returning from injury. Wonder if he's still injured.

Edit: relative to his normal self of course.

Puck goes around into the corner.  Nylander is the closest player to the puck....and then Polak pinches down for no reason, fumbles the puck and Calgary goes out the other way.

He doesn't seem to be able to create the shot that he has in the past.  It would be interesting to know what the injury was.  If it is something like his back, these cross checks he keeps getting are probably not helping.

And that was the left wing boards. How?

His forehand is still okay, but his backhand has no zip. Maybe the latissimus on his left side? Mirror said hes got a reinforced set of shoulder pads along the back.
