Reimer's final stat line (small sample size of course) in San Jose was pretty impressive

8 Games, 1.62 GAA .938 Sv %

7th overall in the NHL in Sv%

I wonder how much playoff time he might get and how much he'll earn and where he ends up next year.

$4.35M in Calgary.  Just a guess.

So the Reimer watch starts.  I doubt he re-signs in SJ given that he didn't get a sniff of playoff action behind Jones. Reimer wants to be a starter, where does he go?

obviously Calgary is 1 team that he would be a candidate to be a starter. But not sure how many other he would be clear cut #1

He would fit well in Carolina.  With Cam Ward out, they have a need for another NHL goalie.

They have Eddie Lack currently so it would like be another 1A - 1B scenario but I could see him getting the majority of starts over Lack should he sign there.

3 or 4 years at $4mil per should do it for him while they wait for Nedeljkovic to get some pro experience.

I don't see Reimer as a fit in Carolina.  I don't see him beating out Lack either.  JMHO.

He's better than Lack.  JMHO.

I think the notion that he can do so better than Reimer is whack.

Thought using the same defence for Reimer that was used earlier for Lack, got things back on track.  :P
