Save percentage back up to .922, 9th in the league. Tied or just .001 above Fleury, Lundqvist, Quick, Holtby, and Luongo. I'm very curious to see what he signs for this summer. I still don't think he's really looked at as a definite #1 goaltender by the rest of the league. I wonder if he ends up pricing himself out of the market.

It's really interesting because he really might be one of those guys who falls between both roles and either gets lucky and gets a team without a starter to way overpay for him, or he's going to sit around until September and sign a small 1-year contract.  Very interested in seeing what happens.

I really kind of hope that Jones gets hurt (not really) and Reimer gets a chance to play in the playoffs and redeem that Game 7.   I think it's pretty clear that the Leafs are going to move on from him unless they find a way to unload Bernier in the offseason.

It'll be either him or Cam Ward in Calgary, for sure.

Yup, and I'd be leaning to Reimer all the way.

Toronto's PHWA chapter named James Reimer as their Masteron nominee: http://theleafsnation.com/2016/3/28/james-reimer-named-leafs-nominee-for-masterton-trophy

A little weird, for obvious reasons. Not sure how often this has happened in the past. I thought it might have gone to PAP since he "overcame" being bought out and stuff.

Its actually great we traded him or there is no way we would have ended up in the bottom 2 (if we lose tonight).

Reimer is a half decent goalie when you put a competent defense in front of him.  :o

We may rue the day he was traded, well, unless we can re-sign him.   :'(

Well, maybe it would be better if we don't re-sign him.  Wouldn't want all the bickering between the Bernier and Reimer camps to start up again.  :-\

Really happy for him, and I hope he has success in the playoffs.

EDIT:  I wonder what somebody paid him in the obvious bet to say "Rhyme or Reason".

Reimer's final stat line (small sample size of course) in San Jose was pretty impressive

8 Games, 1.62 GAA .938 Sv %

7th overall in the NHL in Sv%

I wonder how much playoff time he might get and how much he'll earn and where he ends up next year.
