Upper body injury.  He'll be back before the end of the playoffs if the Knights keep going, but the Hunters always were more cautious with injured players.  If they are hurt, they sit out.

As an aside though, McKegg has been really uninspiring for the Knights in the postseason.  He's been good, but certainly hasn't looked like he has an extra gear which is kind of disappointing for his long-term prospects.

thanks.

Good to see him score but i think it is a bit of a stretch to call it a beauty...Domi did all the work on that one and Mckegg just ended up in the right place at the right time.

Unless he can drastically improve his skating somehow, I really don't see a future for Mckegg in the NHL at all.  His agility and speed seem below average at the CHL level.

true enough....I think te fact that he snapped a scoreless streak is good enough. I thought it looked good .

He's been recalled. May play tomorrow night if JVR/Holland can't go.

This is what you call a major thread bump.

Nice to see some of these picks panning out - at least to the point where they get opportunities like this.

I wanna see a Kadri-esque performance against Ottawa if this kid gets a shot.
