I was watching that game and they should have both been tossed. ESPN is reporting that Beckham will be suspended for 1 game as a result of his actions.

The next little while will be very interesting in NFL off-field news as the Chargers, Rams and Raiders have all filed for relocation to Los Angeles.

Honestly they should really be referring to this as 'filed for TEMPORARY relocation to Los Angeles'.  How many times does LA have to fail as a football center before the NFL stops trying to force a square peg into the round hole.  It's not like they need to try and attract that region to be interested in the NFL.

Rams headed back to L.A.

Chargers are as well.  Both will play out of the same stadium.  Oakland has withdrawn it's request.

To be clear the Chargers haven't officially moved  They have the option of moving there in 2017.  If they decide to stay in San Diego the Raiders get the opportunity to consider a move there.  The teams that dont move to LA get 100 million towards a new stadium.

I can't wait for LA to fail as a market again.

You're both sort of wrong. The way I'm seeing it reported is that the Chargers now have a window of negotiation to join the Rams so long as they agree on a lease(it sounds like the Chargers will essentially be tenants). If they agree soon, they could move for next year but the window lasts until 2017.

I can't wait for LA to fail as a market again.

I don't think they will. Things are too different these days. NFL teams are profitable before they sell a single ticket based strictly on the TV money. How can a team fail under those conditions?

They'll never be the Cowboys, no, but they'll make money.

Chargers have the option of joining the Rams and a year to decide what they want to do.
San Diego voters will decide if they want to fund a new stadium in June and the NFL will kick in $100 million towards it if approved.

USC originally agreed to only let 1 NFL team play at the Coliseum so they will need to amend that prior to the Chargers being able to play there. The Inglewood stadium project won't be ready until 2019, can't see 2 NFL teams playing 3 seasons at the Coliseum along with the Trojans.

I'm not saying the Chargers won't move, just that it is highly unlikely they will be in L.A. this fall.

As for the Raiders it doesn't look good, but there is still a slim chance they end up in L.A. if the Chargers turn down the offer to join the Rams in Inglewood or San Diego taxpayers agree to fund a new stadium. If either of those happens the Raiders will be given the option by the league to join the Rams, as unlikely as that is.
Who knows with Mark Davis....could look at London, Portland, San Antonio, etc.?

The Broncos reign supreme.  Peyton Manning & his Denver teammates held off Tom Brady's New England Patriots 20-18.

If the score is indicative of the game, it sure speaks volumes on the part of the Patriots, as New England kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who has never missed a conversion in his career, had a wonderful opportunity to tie the game up but...missed!  The Patriots ended up to attempt to play catch-up in which Brady found it increasingly difficult to get away from Denver's stolid defence.

Definitely not New England's best efforts or game.  Oh well, you win some, you lose some...

It was (Cam) Newton's law that prevailed as his Carolina Panthers routed the Arizona Cardinals 49-15.  The cocky Cardinals 49 points were the most ever in an NFC Championship matchup.

When a linebacker wins the Championship MVP as Denver's Von Miller did in Super Bowl 50 this past weekend, one knows just how tough a time the opposition had getting away from it.

As such was the case, as the Denver Broncos crushed the Carolina Panthers, bravado and all, enroute to a convincing 24 -10 victory in Sunday's 2016 edition of the Super Bowl, the NFL's premier championship showcase.

With a fantastic halftime show featuring the likes of Chris Martin (Coldplay), Bruno Mars, & Beyonce, to thumping & pumping music, complete with a  splendid display on a stage floor colour-changing laser-light show, and an ode to the past,  -- and Lady Gaga having sung the U.S. national anthem during pregame ceremonies -- the game itself became pretty predictable past the halfway mark.

Panthers QB Cam Newton, who had been exuding bravado & cockiness and a destiny-filled assurance that Carolina had to win, and blah, blah, blah, well, all of that didn't help his cause as the Broncos' experience (think Peyton Manning) plus their stalwart defensive plan, proved too much to handle for the Panthers.

On the side of the equation was Denver's QB Peyton Manning, having played in his fourth Super Bowl of his career and now with two Super Bowl victories on his belt, wasn't particularly flashy nor shall one say outstanding, as the aging but still very agile vet did just enough to do what he had to do offensively, while his team's defence took care of the rest.

This, by the why, was the first Super Bowl that did not have anyone passing for a touchdown.  Strange game, indeed, but watchable.  To Manning & co., but not for Newton's boys in blue.

Lady Gaga (I am not a fan at all)..was amazing she did a great job...The "amazing" halftime show was shite. Coldplay and there 1 hit were okay at very best; Beyonce is MASSIVELY overrated and boring as heel. Last thing I want to she is her in yet another halftime show. Bruno was very good but he was only there a couple years ago and is WAY overplayed. Next year has nothing to worry about as far as besting this show.

Quite a few people enjoyed the special effects better than the performers.  But you are right, Beyonce, as someone mentioned to me, she's been seen before, now again?

Oh well, leave it to the organizers to better themselves.
