Depending on the cap hit, nice signing. He was a guy that I wanted, although it's probably a year too long.

I like this.  Seems like a good risk, could probably be dealt if it came to that.

3 years for a 37 year old with 86 combined games over the last 3 years.    That projects to 33 games over an 82 game schedule.  I really like Robidas.  He showed he could come back from a broken leg...and then he broke his leg again.

I think this might be one of those Van Ryn situations where if we get him healthy in the lineup we really like what we see, it just won't be very often that it happens.    I foresee LTIR in his future.

Agreed. I assume back up plan to gorges, but hopefully at a discount.

Right-handed shot, probably means that Franson is a goner:

Gardiner-Phaneuf
Rielly-Polak
Marlie-Robidas

Total 'meh' signing.

Apparently Leafs aren't going to get better this off season.

Yup, good player, decent term, but coming off an injury. Depends on dollars, but I think this is a good signing...

I'll take it.

It's reasonable. He probably took a bit off that for the 3rd year.

3M AAV.  I can handle that.  He's still going to be in and out of the lineup but he adds a veteran presence to the blueline that the team needs.  He plays good defensively and can chip in the odd amount of offense.
