Because they don't want anyone breaking Gretzky's records.

Looks like Kenny Ryan is on a tryout with the Lake Erie Monsters (COL).

A Question:  Do the Leafs own the Orlando Solar Bears or are they sharing that team with another NHL team. I was looking at the roster and only notice around 8 or 9 names I know.

They don't own them, but they are their exclusive ECHL affiliate. That being said, their roster isn't going to be filled with players that are Leafs' property. The Leafs just don't have enough players under contract to make that happen.

so are they under contract directly to the owners of the Solar Bears (the non leaf players)?

Yes. Well, some of them are under contract to the Marlies, but not the Leafs, but, in large part, they're only under contract for the ECHL.

Well I heard Biggs had 4 points in 5 games and has been told by Dineen to play until he finds his game. Lets hope he reaches the promise that someone saw in him to draft him so high.

I'm not sure 4 points in 5 ECHL games is really indicative of anything promising.

This one really came in under the radar  http://mapleleafs.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=742519

Looks like a great addition to the staff and Hughes gets to stick around and this is good as I like Hughes.
