Connor Brown got his 100th point (36 + 64 = 100) in his 48th game on Monday.  He's 15 points up on teammate Dane Fox for the OHL scoring lead, and 27 up on #3.

It's kinda funny that he's only been named player of the week in the OHL twice this season.

I think rather unfairly, he's been classified as only producing because of his 'superstar' line-mate.

Has Fox been drafted yet?. If so who owens his rights, and if not our sights should be on him. keep them together, on the Marlies and then move them to the Leafs together.

He's really having a fantastic year.  He has yet to be named player of the month either.

October (combining September) - McDavid 5G 23A  (11G 20A)
November - Fox   15G 14A  (8G 16A)
December - Domi  11G 12A (5G 13A)
January - (12G 15A)

McDavid has been very consistent over the course of the season to hit 100 points.

McDavid's only played 39 games though.

It's just bonkers that he's over 2ppg and he's not even in his overage year. And a later draft pick. I can't wait to see what this kid can do in the A.

Prospect Matt Finn with a goal and two assists tonight. Now has 13 goals and 52 points in 51 games. Second in scoring for OHL D Men #Leafs

This kid could be a diamond in the rough for the Leafs.

Actually its very exciting to have such great prospects in the pipeline, McWilliam, Percy, Finn, Granberg and some other of the Swedes that seem to be doing very well. We are prospect rich now where before Burke the cupboard was empty.

Finn is off to a good start in Guelph.

14P in 13 games and +16.

He's looking like another potential top 4 guy for our young defense in the future.

isn't this his overage year?  If so, he better be doing well.

I don't think so, he's going to be turning 20 in a few weeks. Wouldn't an overage year be considered 20-21?

Yeah next season would be his overage season, but he'll almost certainly turn pro and play for the Marlies. HF just ranked him 6th among drafted OHL defencemen:

6. Matt Finn, Guelph Storm
NHL Rights: Toronto Maple Leafs (2nd round, 35th overall, 2012)

The fourth-year Storm blueliner has captained his Guelph squad to lofty heights. The club sits atop the OHL standings, is consistently ranked at the top of the CHL team rankings, and has a real chance to interrupt Londonís attempt to be a three-time OHL champion.

Finn leads a veteran squad thatís built to win this year ó especially in light of the aforementioned trade deadline additions.

Not only is this year Finnís best ever, but itís a welcome change from last yearís injury and illness-filled campaign. Finn missed six weeks last year with mono, yet still finished with 11 goals and 20 assists.

This year, heís scored 13 goals and added 39 assists in 51 games. Heís also a +46. Finn is also consistent: three straight years of 10 or more goals along with seasons of 48, 31, and now 52 points.

At 6í  and 200 pounds Finns has average size from the point, but plays a solid overall game. Heís not flashy in any particular area, but comfortable in all zones and in all situations.

It's old news but Connor Brown finally got a player of the month award for January when he put up 29 points in 12 games.  He's still leading the OHL in scoring with 109 points.  That is the most points since the 2007-2008 season when Justin Azevedo led the league with 124 points.  Luca Caputi had 111 points that year.

OHL scoring doesn't translate to much, but at the very least he will have a very nice junior hockey mark by the end of the year.

True. Still though, getting more points is better than less :)

A small update from @scottcwheeler:

Quote
Last nightís CHL prospects report: Brown (3A), Finn (1A), Rupert (2G, 2A),  Herzog (2G, 3A), Gauthier (1G, 1A).

Thatís the first night in months all Leafs prospects in action have registered a point. Huge night for Rupert and Herzog.

Frederik Gauthier is on a seasonís best 8-game point streak with 13 points in that time.

Gauthier has also scored in 7 straight games. His offensive game has really come along of late.

Fabrice Herzogís 5 point night gives him 54 points in 57 games in his rookie season with Quebec.

Ryan Rupertís 4 point night puts him above PPG pace with 67 in 64 now.

Antoine Bibeau also picked up a 4-3 win with 27 saves. Heís had an up and down season in the QMJHL.

I was expecting a 100 point campaign from Connor Brown, heís got a chance to hit 130 with four games left...
