Time to reve up this thread, how many Leafs will now be Marlies..asked this before...no concise answers

The only players on the Leafs roster that are eligible for the AHL playoffs are Colborne, Hamilton and Holzer.

Marlies currently trail Grand Rapids 2-1. Game 4 is tonight and 5 on Saturday. The winner of this series will now have home ice in the Western Conference final as the #5 seed OKC Barons eliminated the #1 seed Texas Stars last night. The Barons won that series 4 games to 1.

Something will likely get done, but there's a chance that they play next season without an AHL affiliate and have their prospects just scattered across the league. Which would be hilarious and should have Gillis fired instantly.

Well. I was hoping to go to game 7 to or row night, but it's all over.

Congrats to a good year for the Marlies!

It's too bad all the boys couldn't go down who played for the Marlies this year.

I'm not sure how motivated the full time Leafs like Kadri and Gardiner would have been to play in the AHL playoffs after what they went through. Better to just let them start their offseason.

Also, the Marlies had a 3-1 lead going into the 3rd period and allowed the Griffins to score 3 unanswered in the last 10 minutes of the hockey game.

Man that was like sex over in three minutes...LOL...seriously its  real shame that they could not have moved on and given the young guys (especially Colbourne) some playing time.  Would like to see D'Amigo and Scott get a shot next year as well.
