Game live streaming on facebook, free. Happ is mowing them down. Forget trading him, resin him.

No way! Happ will be 36 this fall and is having a good season on a mediocre team. We need to sell high with him, mainly because many of our other impending free agents won't bring much of a return due to injuries or bad seasons.
Mariners and Yankees reportedly interested, obviously prefer he not go to New York, but if they put in the best offer the Jays need to take it.

I really need to figure out who my girlfriend needs to harass in order for me to move to Northern California.

Better yet date a real psycho and move to South Beach!  :P

Who came up with this idiotic split of games?  They're playing 80 games in total, the U.S. gets 60 and Mexico and Canada get 10 each.  Wouldn't it be a tad more fair if Canada and Mexico each got 15 games and the U.S. 50?  That way with 15 games, each city in Canada could host 5 games.

they have inputted more money

I certainly hope so.

I am assuming Canada's infrastructure is in place to host the 10 games? No new stadiums needed?

The current stadiums -- Montréal's Olympic Stadium needs $ M of upgrades and Toronto's BMO Field needs seating expansion.  As for Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium, it appears to be ready as it is.

Of the three above-mentioned stadiums, Montréal's is slated for some costly expenditures that will run in the millions.

I believe Edmonton will have to rip the turf out and put grass back in for the World Cup.

Starting pitching hasn't been there this year other than Happ, but Estrada and Gaviglio put up back to back great starts against the Yankees and the end result is still 2 losses.
Frustrating, just like most of this lost season!
Gibby's job has never really been in danger to this point, but he may now become the scapegoat if things don't improve somewhat in the near future.

I can't honestly vote for any of them. Since there won't be a "none of the above" box, I will write it across the bottom.

Here is how you can do this and still have it "count".

On election day June 7, if you want to vote “none of the above” you can, by going to your polling station and formally declining your ballot.

A little-known sentence in Ontario’s Election Act allows a voter to register his or her protest at the choices on offer by declining to vote. Section 53 states: “An elector who has received a ballot and returns it to the deputy returning officer declining to vote, forfeits the right to vote and the deputy returning officer shall immediately write the word ‘declined’ upon the back of the ballot and preserve it to be returned to the returning officer and shall cause an entry to be made in the poll record that the elector declined to vote.”

Jays could have Vlad Jr. and Bo Bichette playing SS and 3B for years to come so a bit of an interesting pick in the draft. Personally, I think Vlad Jr. will start his career at 3B and transition to 1B in later years.
Not that you can put much if any stock into these draft rankings but Groshans was reportedly ranked 31st and yet the Jays took him 12th...time will tell on this decision.

4 game sweep by Oakland and they take Carlos Ramirez with them on the way out of town. Looking more and more like this season is heading down the tubes.

Super frustrating watching this team parade Biagini out there as a starter....he is awful as a starter, he is a reliever...make him into a long man as L K suggested.

Nothing has changed on the Donaldson front....still have to move him in July to the highest bidder. No need to touch Vlad Jr., Solarte is more than capable playing 3B the rest of this season. So much for the middle infield depth being addressed in the off-season. No Tulo and Travis as sadly expected, but Diaz and Ngope not currently in the mix there either. Hello Urena and Urshela!  :P

With the way Solarte is playing at 3B and Vladdy Jr. is killing AA pitching, they are making it awfully hard to justify re-signing Donaldson. I know that may sound crazy, but honestly how it feels right now. Take the best offer at the July deadline and move on.

Would have liked to get revenge on the Bruins, but still very happy with the progress made this season. Looking forward to the off-season, as management will shore up the D and make the team strong in all areas. Leafs should be good for a deep playoff run next year!

Like I said at that start of the playoffs, the only way I'll be disappointed is if we get blown out in the 1st round.  Going out in 5 would qualify.

You shouldn't be disappointed though. Boston is a really good team. They are better than Washington was last year. Its a learning experience for the core and for management as well. A great regular season doesn't mean anything. The team still needs to stay the course with the rebuild.

Well said.  Still, those first 2 games were really deflating.
It is what it is tho. We all know the weak link is our D and Boston exposed it. Well exploited it lol

To the Leafs' D's credit, they played much better at home.  But upgrades are definitely in order, and I expect at least one forward we would rather not see traded is going to have to go to make it happen.

Yep, the silver lining is that management HAS to address the blueline in the off-season. Unfortunately, this will mean moving someone out we would rather not see go....but you have to give something to get something.

Patrice Bergeron is out for the Bruins tonight with an upper body injury.

I can't ever remember the Jays having 3 straight games postponed. It's only mid-April so hopefully this trend slows somewhat. Saw the smug tweet the Jays sent out earlier in the day about not having to worry about the weather playing in a dome....definitely karma!  :P
