Best of luck to Holland in Arizona.  Perhaps he can contribute on a consistent basis, unlike his time here as a Leaf.  He has an opportunity to restart his career.

The Leafs get something -- a conditional 6th Round pick (provided Holland doesn't get traded from the 'Yotes, in which there are no guarantees that won't happen otherwise the Leafs return is nil),  and, the bigger plus is that the Leafs have freed up cap space, which works well for them.

They get the pick if he gets traded, from what I understand.

You should work for the tourism board.

"Hey, do you like the political tenor and climate of Texas but hate all of its interesting history and their successful sports franchises?"

This made me laugh out loud, well played.

I suppose hope is a good thing to have. 59 pts in the next 56 games does seem a tad unrealistic though.

But playing with player with skill would help with that... Martin sucks.

Pfft. Multiple players produce at that pace every season! Like, at least 4 or 5!

Yes. Martin is the reason Peter Holland isn't a better than a point per game player.
I Saw Jay McClement Score.

Hey Nik, I would live in AZ 100 times over Ontarrible any day of the year.  300 days of sunshine, virtually no snow. Worst fear are rattelsnakes and Pool dust.   Shane Doan has been saying it for years. Best place on the planet to live.  Heres to the Holland Marsh in AZ.

Sydney, Australia says hello.

Cost of Living easily favors AZ.  I've been to both and liked both but if I was choosing to live in only one it would be AZ.

It costs to be the best. I've been through Arizona on a train (for what it's worth) and I know which one I prefer. I may be biased however.

I just sold a 3br townhouse for $1.352m. We bought it 9 years ago for $580k.

My kids won't be able to buy property when they're old enough but hey, swings and roundabouts.

That goes for just about anywhere, Toronto, Vancouver etc.
