These are standard Sydney (AU) prices. Not cheap but nothing unusual.

What the hell was on the back of Polak's neck? NHLers aren't starting that cupping crap, I hope?

I've done it once due to a fluid build-up in my shoulder and it worked for me.

It's 9am in Sydney, Australia.

Let's do this!

I'm like any other fan, I'll complain about Babcock's line up choices, strategies etc but if he guides this team in back to back seasons to 95 and 100+ points my complaints seem pretty weak

He's guided us to 90-100 point seasons because our personnel slash talent is better than it's been in a long time.

...and yeah he has nothing to do with that or making sure they sing from the same hymn sheet?  :o

I don't have any problem with Martin going in, but yeah like CTB sez it should be for Leivo.  This is a perfect time to assess Johnsson.

What I do have a problem with is getting our asses kicked all the time in Buffalo.  To quote a famous minor hockey coach, that's not coincidence, that's horse____.

If you donít mind my asking, why donít you have a problem with Martin playing?  I think itís pretty clear that Martin is t an nhl caliber player.  There is not one good reason he should be on the roster, let alone taking away ice time from legitimate prospects.  I find it embarrassing for the leafs that they not only continue to have Martin on the roster, but that he actually still gets ice time.

Is it not possible that he may have to appear on the roster during the playoffs due to injury or other and that playing him every once in a while will maintain his preparedness (such as it is)?

Just watched the replay of the Hyman goal and that sweet sweet Nylander set-up. I'm pretty sure Hyman said this to Willy afterwards: "You complete me." If you know your classics, normally only Tom Cruise can say that to Renee Zellweger. But in this case, it fits.

Nylander deserves 2 assists on that one.

Ya and I recall the benchings last year some I don't think warranted and all the trade talks surrounding him. Management let's any of the top 3 go they should be all hung.

That word doesnít mean what you think it means.

"all be hung" that better

They weren't "lives lost in a senseless tragedy."  They were brutally killed by a gun because our goddamned gutless politicians are owned by maniacs at the NRA.

If anything it looked like right shoulder but he wasn't favouring it.

Main Leafs Hockey Talk / Section 313 Row 14X Seats 6-9

Hi guys,

Perhaps I put it in the wrong section...

I've purchased these tix for the TB game in January.

Is anyone familiar with these seats and the view?

They're described as obstructed but I'm curious to know how bad the obstruction may be.

I know lots of people who write with their right hand but shoot left. I have no idea why. My strong arm is on the bottom of the stick but lots of left shooters prefer their strong arm on the top. I don't really get it.

I'm right-handed and shoot left. Holding the stick the other way feels so totally bizarre to me.

A young lad I coached in cricket a couple of years ago there threw left but bowled (basically pitched to steal the baseball term) right. I've never figured the logic or biomechanics of that out.

I'm left-handed. I bowl left-handed but I can bat both left and right-handed.
My Dad's right-handed and used to bowl right-handed and bat left-handed, though he plays golf right-handed.

Just to not clear things up at all.

Man, Rielly...

His game as it was looking so promising over the last 12 months or so has done nothing but taken a complete 360 under Babcock. I'm hoping it has something to do with his injury. I was all for the rebuild but I think the Leafs could have done something at the deadline to bolster the D without mortgaging much but they did jack sh*t. Which would have alleviated some of Reilly's minutes. 2 acquisitions they made did nothing to help our weaknesses. Anyway goodnight everybody hope there's a comeback in store but I've seen enough of this sh*t.

That'd be a 180...

Aboat the time he stood out in the cold trying to complete his Esso Powerplay stacks!

The quintessential convenient Canadian, Mike Myers.

It seems the Tall-Poppy Syndrome is getting as strong in Canada as it is in Australia...

Main Leafs Hockey Talk / Re: Holland traded to Arizona

Cost of Living easily favors AZ.  I've been to both and liked both but if I was choosing to live in only one it would be AZ.
Hey Nik, I would live in AZ 100 times over Ontarrible any day of the year.  300 days of sunshine, virtually no snow. Worst fear are rattelsnakes and Pool dust.   Shane Doan has been saying it for years. Best place on the planet to live.  Heres to the Holland Marsh in AZ.

Sydney, Australia says hello.

It costs to be the best. I've been through Arizona on a train (for what it's worth) and I know which one I prefer. I may be biased however.

I just sold a 3br townhouse for $1.352m. We bought it 9 years ago for $580k.

My kids won't be able to buy property when they're old enough but hey, swings and roundabouts.
