On another note, I managed to grab some free tickets to the game tonight.

I believe the Leafs have lost the last 5 or 6 games I attended. I'm going to commit the gambler's fallacy and assume that means they're due for a win.

They lose tonight and it's all on you.

If they lose, I think that will constitute definitive proof that my beer stained Antropov jersey is bad luck.

My lucky Canadian Tire jersey will cancel yours out, leaving them to win or lose entirely on their own merits.

Leafs lost both games 1 and 2 when I wore my Matthews jersey.  Last game I was so tired and sweaty from clearing ice on my driveway that I didn't put on the jersey cause I didn't want to stink it up with my sweat, so I was wearing a green sweater.  I'll go back to the green sweater for tonight, then the Leafs won't have to rely on their own merits but instead have the power of the sweater backing them.

Yep, my Babsocks didn't work when they were in Boston.

Honestly, I would like Franson now.  Especially if the rumors of Moore are true.

I agree, but I'm hopeful that we'll be complaining how un-entertainging our young Leafs are in a few years.

Watching tonight's game.  Wow lots of good defensemen on the ice.

I get Pierre McStroker for this coverage.  Like knowing who an assistant coach went to elementary school adds any value to the game or coverage.

My god when he talks he sounds like a pedophile sometimes.

WHO???? WHICH ASSISTANT COACH WENT TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITH SOMEONE????  I NEED TO KNOW!!!!!

While Maguire's shtick wears on me a bit, I always admired that when he got something wrong he was willing to admit it.  I remember watching a game between the Rangers and Penguins back in 2007-2008.  CRosby flung his head back like he was shot and the announcers all chastised him hard for it.  Talking about how he would never be elite unless he got that out of his game.  Then they showed the replay and Gomez had his stick in the mouth of Crosby.  The period ends and Maguire gets to interview Crosby, and the first thing he says is "I'm really sorry, on that high sticking call, it looked like you were diving, and I was giving it to you pretty hard about it, but it turns out that Gomez really did high stick you".  I appreciate it when people can admit they made a mistake.

So he stroked Crosby   8)

Nobody knows how to handle playoff tickets.  Those employees have all died off.

Marner would have been in the mix without the injury I suggest

I think Mitch is going to get more votes than most think, especially from folks who grew up as Leafs fans.  Long time Leaf fans have always endeared themselves to underdogs.

Remember when Habs fans weren't liking Galchenyuk so much?  Another OT goal for him.  I have bittersweet memories of when we didn't like Kadri.

So, are we now at 48 contracts?

Really want to see this game.  But I live in New Mexico and for some reason the Coyotes games are blacked out for me.  Usually I get to see the AVs games, but last night was blacked out too.
