Kadri named AHL Player of the Week

The American Hockey League announced on Monday that Toronto Marlies centre Nazem Kadri has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 18, 2012.

Kadri had eight points (one goal, seven assists) 4 games last week, and is riding a five-game point streak since being a healthy scratch vs. Texas on November 9. (2 goals, nine assists).

The 2009 first-round pick of the Maple Leafs had his best game on Saturday when he tied a franchise record with four assists in the Marlies 6-1 win over Hamilton.
