Maple Leafs glass half full

Couch’s Corner: Another Loss, More on HBO, Leafs Links

Glass half-full? Or half-empty?

Truth be told, I rather enjoyed the Leafs second and third periods.  They only lost to a very solid Sharks team by a 4-2 margin, with the final goal an empty-netter.  The first period, however, was ugly.

The Leafs played without Nazem Kadri, Joffrey Lupul, Dave Bolland and Cody Franson. They lost Tyler Bozak with an upper-body injury part way through the game.

Numerous Leafs have played poorly enough that they’re in Carlyle’s doghouse. And rightfully so.  Kessel responds.

HBO Hits Town…

Here’s an update on the 24/7 HBO taping, which starts this week.  Should be interesting to see exactly what’s happening behind the scenes, although I’m sure it’ll be heavily editted.

Kadri Misses Game vs Sharks…

Our deepest condolences to Nazem Kadri who missed the game for personal reasons – a close family member passed away.
