The Toronto Marlies salvaged a victory at the end of their four-game road trip Friday night, trumping the Rochester Americans 4-1. Matt Frattin’s two goals give him seven tallies in 6 games played this season.

Ben Scrivens made 28 saves in net for the win. The Marlies entered the game without earning a point in any of the previous three outings.

The victory was a milestone for coach Dallas Eakins, who now has the most wins of any coach in Marlies history of 124, surpassing Greg Gilbert.

Toronto returns home Saturday for a rematch with the Americans before facing Lake Erie on Sunday.
