The Toronto Marlies fell 3-2 to the Binghamton Senators on Thursday night in the first game of a 4-game road trip. Binghamton goalie Ben Bishop was solid in net, making 46 saves.

Carter Ashton and Matt Frattin had the Marlies goals. Frattin has scored four goals in 3 outings since returning from a knee injury that ended his season last year. Nazem Kadri extended his point streak to six games (2 goals, 10 assists). Ben Scrivens was the losing netminder.

The Marlies’ next game is Saturday night in Wilkes-Barre to take on the Penguins.
