Leo Komarov has returned to the KHL to play for Dynamo Moscow, reports Ria Novosti. The 25-year-old forward signed a one year contract with Toronto, and is currently one of the leading goal scorers for the AHL Marlies (tied with Jake Gardiner with 5 each).
“He will probably arrive on Friday,” spokesman Mikhail Kravchenko said. “He will likely take part in his first match at the start of the next home series.
Komarov was the Leafs’ 6th-round draft choice, 180th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
