The Toronto Marlies completed a three-game sweep of Texas teams with a 5-3 victory over the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday.

Forwards Nazem Kadri and Joe Colborne both responded from a benching by coach Dallas Eakins with a goal apiece. It was the first goal of the season for both forwards, who were healthy scratches the previous night. Greg Scott and Jerry D’Amigo (empty net) also scored for the first time in 2012-13.

Leo Komarov scored his team-leading fifth goal of the year for Toronto. Mark Owuya made 20 saves for the win, becoming the third different goalie to post a victory on the Texas road swing.

The team heads to Oklahoma City for a Tuesday game having played 6 of eight consecutive road games on their schedule. The Marlies visit Copps Coliseum on Friday before playing a pair of games at Ricoh next weekend.
