Both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin had four-point nights to lift the Penguins to a 4-1 win over the Leafs on Saturday night before a home crowd at Mellon Arena.
Crosby had one goal and three assists. His second period tally, which bounced off the Leafs Mikhail Grabovski with goalie Curtis Joseph way out of position, was the 100th goal of Crosby’s career. Malkin earned an assist on the same play, earning the Russian his 200th career point.
Malkin finished the game with four assists. Nik Antropov had the only Leafs goal.
Toronto’s next game is Tuesday when they face Anaheim.
