Kessel picked last; receives new car

Maple Leafs forward Phil Kessel, Toronto’s lone representative at the NHL All-Star game, had the unfortunate distinction of being the last player chosen in the 36-player pool.

Kessel will play on Team Lidstrom at Sunday’s game in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The 23-year-old right-winger received a new Honda plus $20,000 towards the charity of his choice.
