Armstrong out 4-6 weeks with finger injury

Leafs winger Colby Armstrong will require surgery after suffering a finger injury on Tuesday night in Toronto’s game against Florida. Armstrong is expected to miss 4-6 weeks of action.

Luca Caputi has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. Caputi has one goal and one assist in 6 games played with the Marlies so far this year, and registered one goal and five assists in 19 games for the Leafs in 2009-10 after joining the team in a trade involving Alexei Ponikarovsky.

Armstrong played just 52 seconds in the Leafs 3-1 win over the Panthers.
