Noteworthy:
-Ex-Hab Mike Komisarek logged 22:33 of ice time against his former team, collecting 15 penalty minutes. Montreal’s first goal came on the power-play just four seconds after Komisarek was assessed a double-minor for high-sticking.
-Colton Orr and Jay Roeshill – both members of the Leafs fourth line – each had fighting majors.
-Viktor Stalberg earned his first NHL point, an assist on Stajan’s second goal.
-The Habs Andrei Markov left the game in the third period and did not return.

    What has happened to the defensive plan? Stajan gets flattened at least twice in the first period. I thought our defencemen were supposed to intimidate their forwards. So far Beauchemin is in wonderland.
