Marlies bombed in Game Two

The Toronto Marlies were no match for the Chicago Wolves in the second game of the Western Conference Final, falling by a score of 5-0.  Toronto surrendered the opening goal of the game just 25 seconds into the first period, and trailed 3-0 by the 6:51 mark of the contest. 

AHL MVP Jason Krog had two goals and an assist, and now has 7 points against the Marlies in this series (5 goals, 2 assists).  Chicago has a comfortable 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Marlies backup goaltender Justin Pogge made his second appearance of the playoffs, playing the entire third period in relief of Scott Clemmensen.

The scene now shifts to Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto for the next two games of the series on Tuesday and Wednesday.
