Marlies tie series with win over Rampage
The Toronto Marlies defeated the San Antonio Rampage 3-2 on Wednesday night, squaring the North Division Semi-Final at two games each. Goaltender Scott Clemmensen made his fourth straight post-season start, stopping 34 of 36 shots.
Michel Leveille scored the go-ahead goal late in the third period on a Marlies power-play. It was some redemption for Leveille, who had a costly turnover in Game #2 at Ricoh Coliseum and subsequently was not dressed for the third game of the series.
John Mitchell opened the game's scoring while Chris Harrington added an empty net goal in the last minute of the game.
Game #5, the last of three straight games in San Antonio, is Friday night.
Forward lines: Tlusty-Mitchell-Ondrus, Murphy-Foster-Harrington, Battaglia-Newbury-Ling, Aubin-Leveille-Gilati
