I first knew of Rob Zettler when he played for our Soo AAA Legion Team in 1983 in Sault Ste Marie, he was a pretty solid player.

Later I remember he went on to play some hockey with our Soo Greyhounds, and making it all the way to the Memorial Cup. Later on used to go watch him play at the Gardens with the Leafs and it sure did feel good to see that another fellow once highschool kid make it to the big leagues.

Know some years later he’s back in blue as a part of the Leafs coaching staff.

Hats of to you Rob, and good luck in your coaching career. You deserve it.
