Sabres too much for Leafs

While the score of the Sabres-Leafs tilt last night in Buffalo was 5-3 for the Sabres, the score wasn’t indicative of the play.

The Leafs skated well and could have easily came out on the winning end.  The Sabres just found the back of the net easier, and more often.

Scoring twice for the Leafs – yes TWICE – was Leo Komarov.  Mitch Marner added a late goal in the final period.  Freddy Andersen only managed 19 saves to take the loss.

The Leafs next action is this upcoming Saturday, when the Leafs host the Pens on CBC.
