Leafs Hand Game Four To Caps

The Leafs lost a chance to put a strangle-hold on the Capitals in a 5-4 loss at the ACC Wednesday evening.

The Capitals jumped to an early 2-0 lead, but Toronto came back to make it a game in the third.  Washington, however, prevailed.

TJ Oshie and Tom Wilson each had a pair for the Caps.

Leafs coach Mike Babcock had this to say “I thought today was the first time that maybe we weren’t scared enough of them and it looked like it because our competition level wasn’t good enough.” That pretty much summed it up.  The Caps won all the races to the puck and were stronger in the corners.

The series, which is now tied two games a piece, continues Friday evening.
