-Jamal Mayers scored his first goal since Oct. 29, 2008, ending a 32-game goal-less drought.
-Florida has won just two out of 22 games when trailing after two periods. Both victories have come against Toronto, including last Tuesday’s game at ACC.
-Richard Zednik scored tying goal and the game-winner in overtime. His two-goal performance comes one year to the day that he suffered a near-fatal injury at Buffalo’s HSBC Arena when an artery in his neck was sliced by the skate of teammate Olli Jokinen.
