Marner shines, Andersen bounces back in win

Two days after suffering their worst loss of the season, the Leafs rebounded for a 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers on Thursday night.

Tyler Bozak had a pair of goals and James van Riemsdyk scored for the third consecutive game; the longest goal-scoring streak of his career.

Rookie Mitch Marner had the first multi-point game of his NHL career, finishing the night with three assists – none more memorable than his no-look cross-ice pass on the game-winner by Bozak.

The result was a much-needed morale boost for Frederik Andersen. The Leafs goalie made 29 saves for the win, just 48 hours after being shelled for each opposing goal in a 7-3 loss to Tampa Bay.
